Dear Carol, I'm unable to speak too—it's only Tuesday. In any event, wishful thinking dictates that cute little vessel is carrying ground-up Oreos (or as Thumper would say, Romeos).
I keep going back and I wonder if it's not tea.
Nope, not coal, not tea! and I wish they were Romeo's! LOL!
I know, but I do not want to ruin it. Sssssssssss :)
LOL, Kathleen, I know you know! Shhhhh!
Uncooked coffee grounds? That sounds neither romantic nor adventurous, but to these old tired eyes they look like Folger's coffee crystals. Sorry, it was the best I could do :-) Have a great day. Blessings...Mary
What have you burned this time, Carol! Is it huitlacoche in that little casserole...no matter, cute vessel.

Black beans! Pero, donde esta el arroz?
coffee beans? dry black beans? I like the sound of dark chocolate oatmeal too :)
At first I thought black beans but I don't think that's right.
I'm stumped. I thought it was back beans, too. Or black-eyed peas, but don't think that's right, either.
Is there a prize?...??.?
My first thought caviar but it looks dryer then I would think it should be so perhaps forbidden rice?
I'll vote for coffee...I could almost smell the aroma! ;-)
My first guess is ground coffee beans :)
