The cones would make it much easier for my 4-year-old to eat. He always holds the traditional cupcakes too tightly and they end up turning to crumbs. Great idea!
I made these to share at school when our girls had birthday parties. They are cute. It isn't quite as much fun when teachers ask for healthy snacks. Oh, but cake is healthy, right? :)
Bake them the same length of time as you would regular cupcakes! I used a ziploc freezer bag with the corner cut off to pipe the frosting, and to keep the cones from falling over I squished pieces of tin foil around the cones to keep them steady. The first batch fell over :)
These are absolutely adorable!!! I've never seen anything like this before! I'd love to make them one day, so I appreciate you including that link on how to make them. :)
Bookmarking it now before I forget! I think my great-niece would love these! :)
Another great recipe to add to the sushi and the aquariums already on the list. I can't wait to make these with Julz and Acadia. Thanks, Carol! Perfect WW photo too. No words necessary....unless you count "nom nom nom" or "mmmmmmmm". :)
OMGoodness! I made these when my kids were small..:( I have to make them again to surprise them...We eat gluten free due to my Celiac Disease...BUT I did see GF cones the other day...so I will add that to my grocery list! Yay! My name is Meme from Screaming Meme. I am having a giveaway...well, a giveaway series! First item is a slipcover. I hope you get a chance to stop in and sign up for one of the many giveaways.
