  1. Great, do you use this for making teas or in baking?

  2. Pretty pic! I'm curious, is it chocolate in scent or does it get it's name from the tint to the leaves? Might have to Google that:@)

  6. @ niamh, so far just baking, but I bet it would be a very nice tea!

@ Lynn, it has the scent of chocolate! A little anyway. It's a nice scent.

It comes back so nicely every year, even after a few blizzards.
    Thanks for the comments!
    Happy WW :)

  20. @ Sweet and Crumby, I once made a mint whipped cream with berries, I used spearmint but I think next time I would use the chocolate mint. I think that would be nice with strawberries.

@ The Book Girl, it's subtle taste of chocolate, not overpowering chocolate flavor but you know it's chocolate is how I would describe it.

@ Sukhmandir, it's so nice in the garden, but very invasive. Mine are in big pots!

Thanks everyone for the comments :)Have a great week!

  27. I always have some fresh mint planted in a small pot in my balcony. Are they not only good for salads and things but they are also very good for a cup of lemon and mint tea just before you go to bed. It will comfort your stomach if you have overeaten your favourite food at dinner and will also give you a nice and comfortable sleep for the night. And they will grow fast and multiply themselves like rabbits. :-)

  29. Carol, Chocolate Mint is my absolute favorite of all mint types. But I'm finding the chocolate mint, in particular, is taking over my garden—FAST!

I'll need more recipes for this amazingly-fragrant plant.

  30. @ Yemek Tarifleri, thanks, I will try it in tea, it would be nice!

@ Sol, mine is in a big pot on a table in the yard, away from everything. All it can do is grow up. Unlike you and I :) LOL!

@ Nammi, there are lots of varieties, some very nice ones, but so invasive.

Thanks for all the nice comments, always appreciated. Hope you all have a great weekend.
