That is some beautiful stock you have there, Carol. I am sure it's going to be included in some wonderful deliciousness that you are creating over there. Have a beautiful Tuesday!
Great things will come of this!
Nice and rich looking!
I thought of Knorr's chicken stock when I saw this picture.Ritahttp://www.knorr.com/Products/2246/Chicken-flavor.aspx
I tried that, Rita, really salty, but good in a pinch! This was jellied like that a little, too. I'll have the recipe up in a couple days, it's from a leftover roasted chicken.
Mmm. I can't help but wonder whether my entire head would fit in that bowl.Happy Valentine's Day!
Looks soothing! Happy Valentine's Day! What's on today's menu ? :-)
Liquid gold! I soooo need to make some soon. Happy Valentine's Day:@)
Amazing but no joke, if you look closely you can see the yolk!
We make this every week thanks to Au's obsession with "rost chikkun"! Lovely colours in this pic.

i love homemade chicken stock. it makes the best tasting soup. :)
I love the perspective from above. It almost looks like it's some sort of exotic camera lens.
Wow! Healthy stuff!
There is nothing like homemade chicken stock! I toss bits of unused veggies in a ziploc bag in the freezer, and use them for stock.
Very cool perspective. Now, when are inviting me over for a taste test?
Great shot, I feel better already!
let me give you the address to send a quart....
LOL! All gone, I'll let you know when I make another batch. Thanks for all the nice comments! Happy WW, have a great week!
Oh yummy. I could use some now with all the sickies around here. Looking forward to the recipe.
Without the title I wouldn't have known what it was... so simple, direct and powerful. And then it's chicken stock so I giggle. <3
Wow, I would have thought custard or creme brulee.
Chicken soup :)
There is nothing better!
wow, did you use roasted chicken for that stock? Its so dark and rich
yep, a leftover roasted chicken. Great flavor to the stock!
Nothing's better than homemade!
Black Bean Soup with Ancho Chiles and Chorizo!
Thanks for the comments, I always enjoy reading them! I posted the recipe for the chicken stock if anyone wants it.
Nice and rich, liquid gold as they say. :)
As much as you love reading the comments, I love them too. My favorite, liquid gold!
Love making chicken stock at home! The soup or any dish tastes so much better. The best part is that it is easy, just boil away, strain and freeze.
