This is a cake?Really? It would be a pity to eat it!It is so nice!Blessings,my dear Carol!
Wow! how talented they look brilliant :-)
Wow, that is really something!
Did she actually cut that beautiful cake? Love the color of the bouquet.
She did! It's a chocolate layer cake inside! And it was good :)
Always thought these were cute! (Must be the little princess in me:@)
This cake brings back many memories. I had a princess cake at my bridal shower many years ago.
wow!! what a cake!!!
Okay, let us know. Once we start cutting into the cake, is she undressed???? Maybe this is better for a bachelor party. &(j/k)It's absolutely darling!
My granddaughter is having a bumblee bee theme cake and party but is wearing a princess floor length gown she picked out herself for her 3rd birthday. She put it on over jeans to show me last time i visited and stood up very straight and regally and glided across the room. She has a tiara and wand to go with it. I have the feeling she is going to want a princess cake just as soon as she discovers princess cakes.:) I'll have to send her the link to yours, its so beautiful.
Your granddaughter sounds adorable, a very happy birthday to her, sounds like a fun party! I didn't make the cake, my friend did, if you google Barbie Doll cakes, I think you'll find lots of recipes!
How neat! My mom had a very similar cake to this one for her bridal shower -- apparently they were once a specialty of my grandmother's! :) Very cute.
Pretty but I prefer that salmon recipe below. yummy!
That is such a beautiful cake! I don't think I would have been able to cut into it!
Beautiful!Happy Wordless Wednesday!LeaLea's Menagerie
That's a really lovely princess cake. Did it take a long time to make?
I don't know, a friend of mine made it for her soon to be DIL's bridal shower. I know she practiced a bit with the fondant and the frosting decoration. I know it didn't take us long to eat it, it was good :)
It took a couple of hours to do. This was my first try at fondant, luckily youtube has lots of how to videos.
Now that's really splendid! Bet it tastes as good as it looks.
Cakes are getting more and more elaborate! But I haven't met one yet that was too pretty to eat.
Wow, so pretty. I would hate to ruin the cake by eating it.
That's a beautiful cake, and I love the colors!I did crochet a dress for a Barbie Doll and I gave it to my friend's daughter's quincenera. It was placed on top of the cake. Now that I am blogging and in to photography, no more time to do my crafts.
That sounds pretty, Ebie!
Too beautiful to eat. My entries:Moms...Check NyoYummy-as-can-be
Impressive. I think it would be hard to be the first person to try and eat it.
yes, that first slice had to be difficult, LOL! But then the doll came out and it was a regular looking cake again.
Wow! that's amazing.
I remember seeing this many years ago at a Bridal shower; adorable.Rita
