I love pizza, especially the brick oven pizza. It is very hot here too. Take care and stay cool. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect choice when the cook finds the kitchen too hot! My second choice is a calzone. :) Carol, stay cool this weekend!

Lovin' the little toothpick holder-cute hair! I was just thinking driving home that if I could have anything I wanted tonight it would be a big ole slice of great pizza-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteI love getting pizza too when it's too hot to cook. Followed by some ice cream, it makes for a very satisfying dinner ;)
ReplyDeleteSo envious! I haven't had brick oven pizza in years!
ReplyDeleteToo funny, I keep saying it's way too hot to cook.
ReplyDeleteBrick oven pizza sounds just right...The fork picture..precious!!
ReplyDeleteLots of cooking going on outside here! Love the fork photo! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteStay cool my friend and enjoy that brick pizza to every crumb :D
ReplyDeleteCheers

You did the right thing my friend. A break especially when the temperatures are climbing is the best thing you could do! Take care!
ReplyDeleteYes, the heat has been unbelievable at times! I'm hosting a linky party and would love for you to join with one of your GREAT recipes!
ReplyDeleteTake out? What's take out?
ReplyDeletePas possible in rural Normandy, great looking pie!
Carol,
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! Take out sounds pretty good!!!
Have a great day.
Love the holder! We have central air so no excuse not to cook!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Liberation Day! :)
We have central air, too, but I'll take any excuse :)
DeleteYep, tomorrow is liberation!
It's even hot at the lake, so I have to turn the AC on when I cook. Brick oven pizza sounds wonderful Carol! Love the holder.
ReplyDeleteTake out sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteI've taken every excuse I could in the past two weeks too :) Last night we went out because my friend thought it was too hot to cook - how could I say no?
ReplyDeleteDelicious looking pizzas!
Anytime is a good time for pizza, I say. Nice to take a break from cooking.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fabulous idea to me! I can ALWAYS eat pizza!
ReplyDeleteOh pizza sounds great!!
ReplyDeleteI need one month away from the stove :)
ReplyDeleteBut at least tonight I have pizza :)
I am definitely craving brick oven pizza now! Good eats, even in the heat.
ReplyDeletevery creative display with spoon & fork
ReplyDeleteLove me the pizza...but since our electricity was out most of the week, all over the area, there was not even pizza to be found!
ReplyDeleteHope it's back on! We were out for over a week a couple years ago and we got a generator. Haven't lost power since :)
DeleteHow smart are you??? We've grilled and had lots of salads. Which is why I, too, had no recipe for this week.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's too hot to cook, it is great to let someone else heat up their kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI love brick oven pizza! The heat is definitely a good excuse to get take-out!
ReplyDeleteOur pizza stone is out on the grill for the foreseeable future! Fun post!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you :) Plus that little fork man is so cute
ReplyDeleteWe cooked some, but also noticed the temperature rising in the house! Poor air conditioner had all it could do to keep up without throwing extra heat at it.
ReplyDeleteI've traveled to the southern hemisphere for vacation. The temperatures are much cooler, so I could cook, but no ingredients, no recipes etc. Oh well, it might be cooler when I get home.
ReplyDeleteWe've had the same kind of heat, and I've been trying to stay out of the kitchen too. Keep cool!
ReplyDeleteYum! Have to say that pizza is good for winter too! We are cold here at the moment but pizza still gets a run on the menu!
ReplyDeleteI have been craving a good pizza all week, I think this is a sign.
ReplyDeleteLove the fork gadget/holder! Definitely you... going to try out my of my new 'gadgets' tonight, a pizza grill pan from Pampered Chef, hope it works!
ReplyDeleteI've found a recipe for a great pizza dough. And also, wherever I move, I always try to find a good pizza place in an area. So whenever I feel like doing nothing, I just grab one :)
ReplyDeleteOh yum! The pizza looks delicious and I am in love with the little fork guy. I think I'm going to try to make one :)
ReplyDeleteI love pizza! I roasted a chicken for dinner tonight and guess what... heated up the house. I thought about using the slow cooker but thought 2 1/2 hours wouldn't be that bad. Oh, well, now I have leftovers for a couple of cold meals.
ReplyDeleteI would never survive in that heat. I have AC but still don't like to turn the stove on during hot weather. If ever there is a time for takeout it's now.
ReplyDeleteGotta love the pizza!
ReplyDeleteLOL too funny! : )
ReplyDeletelol! i know what you mean.... it has been crazy hot here! i actually felt i would pass out from the heat in the kitchen a few times...haha
ReplyDeleteAgreed Carol! It's been too hot. We have been throwing food on the grill and eating salads.
ReplyDeleteThose pizzas looked good! It felt so much nicer today, didn't it? I hope this cooler weather stays awhile.
ReplyDeleteTake Out Pizza - my favourite fast food!
ReplyDeleteThe pizza looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe heat finally broke. Back to cooking!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the nice comments :)
I live in AZ so the heat doesn't break until October :) The pizza looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteSince it has cooled off to the upper 80's, I have invited friends over for pizza this week
ReplyDeleteOooooooooooooooooooooooooh, pizza!
