Carol, I didn't realize that you loved so close to the water until I saw your prior post! I hope your house wasn't flooded! We were very lucky as houses two blocks either direction from mine were flooded and they lost their cars. My house didn't even lose power!
Pat, we were very lucky considering our neighbors got flooded in feet. We had a couple inches in our basement, no damage. We lost two cars. No power for 11 days. We are getting back to normal.
Me again. I just looked at your last post and was horrified to see the scene in your neighbourhood. I don't know how I missed that post. I'm glad your safe and well, but it must have been a very trying time.
Hi Carol, I am very happy to see you back. But I am sad to hear you lost the cars and about your neighbors. Your Swiss Chard is colorful, very pretty. Wishing you a happy day!
Rainbow chard is one of the prettiest veggies at the farmers market. Won't be seeing any of that for a long time. I 'm happy you are posting again. I missed you.
