Wordless Wednesday: cupcake cones!

  3. The cones would make it much easier for my 4-year-old to eat. He always holds the traditional cupcakes too tightly and they end up turning to crumbs. Great idea!

  6. I made these to share at school when our girls had birthday parties. They are cute. It isn't quite as much fun when teachers ask for healthy snacks. Oh, but cake is healthy, right? :)

    Bake them the same length of time as you would regular cupcakes! I used a ziploc freezer bag with the corner cut off to pipe the frosting, and to keep the cones from falling over I squished pieces of tin foil around the cones to keep them steady. The first batch fell over :)

I made these when my kids were small..:( I have to make them again to surprise them...We eat gluten free due to my Celiac Disease...BUT I did see GF cones the other day...so I will add that to my grocery list!
