  1. This looks like a harbinger of spring to me :)

I'm curious what you use them in/on...salads, sandwiches?

    1. Both! I had them on a sandwich, nice change from lettuce. And in a salad, added some texture and crunch.

    1. They tasted fresh and green to me, not so much strong pea flavor, but nice flavor and added some crunch to the salad. The picture was from a previous post.

    1. Tuesdays are Wednesdays in blogland? I know Mosaic Mondays starts on Sundays :) So Wordless Wednesday might as well start on Tuesday!

  10. I've also never had pea shoots. Can you make these at home? What kind of pea is used?

  12. I have never even seen pea shoots! They look yummy, Carol! Catching up...yummy looking pommes frites, too! Of course, I love that you used the French name! Do you know...French fries in France are extra good...maybe they use lard! Don't know...but they sure are fabulous! Yours look wonderful! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie

  13. Beautiful! Did you grow them yourself? I've been meaning to start growing my own bean sprouts for sandwiches, salads, and Asian food, but I've never gotten around to it.

  14. I have not seen these but I have tried pea leaves in the Chinese restaurant but are cooked, and not eaten fresh.

    1. I didn't have a recipe, I just threw them on salads. Or on sandwiches instead of lettuce.
