I used a julienne peeler for the first time tonight -- my mother-in-law gave it to me. Perfect for cutting carrots that go well in cole slaw. One question, though, what's the best way to clean it?

Carefully! Not kidding, that blade is pointy. I use a toothbrush and then throw it in the dishwasher top rack.
