So my kitchen will be closed for a bit as we get ready for Miss Picky to start her freshman year of college. She doesn't eat much but she will be missed at our table. So it's off to school with a full meal plan and a lot of excitement.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter is a junior in college - I miss her to pieces! Although for some reason she's eaten more meat in the last two months than she did all the time she lived with me - so weird!
ReplyDeleteAnd every day she took a hard salami sandwich on white bread, bag of regular potato chips and a sliced apple to school - literally from first grade through high school!
Congratulatiosn to Miss Picky! I hope she finds the college food service has selections she will enjoy eating, otherwise you will be sending care packages, Carol...lol!
ReplyDeleteOne of my best friends is headed back from dropping his daughter off for her senior year. She has been a regular at our Wednsday pie nights. He has been making pies with seasonal fruit for us since thr rhubarb was here. We will keep eating pie, but we will all miss the young one.
