Yeah, we have a lot of snow here too. I'm making some Bolognese sauce while my family is out digging us out. I figure if I'm cooking I can get out of shoveling.
Oh the snow...we weren't plow out until yesterday evening. Very pretty, but what a pain in the neck! We made a pot of chicken noodle and a pot of split pea with the ham bone left over from Christmas Eve...we had 6 large teenagers staying over (2 being our own). Between the soup and the hot chocolate, we got through the day. Wishes for a happy and very healthy New Year to you and your family. ♥, Susan
Nothing could be better for fellows who have been out and trying to move that white stuff around. You folks were really hammered by this front. Stay warm and dry. Have a great day. Blessings...Mary

ReplyDeleteNot sure, but leaning towards Chicken Tortilla Soup!
We are still getting the howling winds. There is nothing like a pot of soup on a snow day like today.

ReplyDeleteCan you make me a big pot of soup too? After 3 hours of shoveling on Monday, my arms are like jello and I sure could use some soup (and a massage!).
