I have never had Lucky Charms. I shall have to go the the local shop that sells American brand foods and buy some and try them if they look this pretty!
Oh, I haven't had those in so long! My mom stopped getting them when I was a kid because I'd eat all the marshmallows out of the box, leaving the wheat bits for my brothers. :D
Guess I'm the exception, even as a kid it amazed me that Lucky Charms could be considered food :) I even toured Post and Kellog cereal factories on school field trips in Battle Creek where most cereals are made, or maybe that's why :)
I used to love Lucky Charms but I never wanted the crunchy oats. I just wanted a bowl of marshmallows. I thought the crunchy parts looked too much like Meow Mix!
My kids usually got plain Cheerios, but once in a while I bought them Lucky Charms for a treat. I think they've upgraded the marshmallow treats--much prettier now!
I'm the odd ball out here, but I've never been a fan of Lucky Charms. They look so much better than they taste. It's probably because I'm not a fan of marshmallows.
Because most kids just want to eat the marshmallows, I wonder why they don't just sell those in a box -- with some hidden nutrition, of course! When I was a kid, I thought the different colored marshmallows should have their own flavors.
I now have a weird craving for Lucky Charms! Haven't had those in years. Sometimes, we just don't grow out of our favorite junk food stand-bys even if they are artificial in every way, shape and form! HA!
One time my husband got so mad at me b/c he went to get a bowl of Lucky Charms and I had picked out every marshmallow. He is diabetic. I was doing it as a favor to him...really. Yep, my story and I'm sticking to it. http://www.grandmasezso.com/p/wordless-wednesday-hop-with-link.html
I came over after seeing these. I adore LC. Have you tried the new bar? I am pretty much, fine 199%, addicted to them. It's really in a healthy way though.
