    Root-a-bega or parsnip? These are quite wonderful in a mild curry stew made with onsions green chilies tomaotes and turmeric!

    It's celery root (celeriac)
    We had it mixed in with mashed potatoes!

    I thought so, the leaves look familiar. Unfortunately, I do not care for celery, though I like other root crops such as yucca, and yam!
